This is where I write about myself without worrying if I'll bore you or add any value to your life.
There will definitely be a day when this site is all that's left of me. So I decided to write everything about my life here.
Last updated: 10th June 2024
1997: Born in India, to a family living in Delhi.
2001: Got my admission in a nearby school.
2010: Read my first novel: 2 States by Chetan Bhagat. Fell in love with reading as a 12 year old.
2011: Got hands on my core2Duo Windows PC with internet. Fell in love with internet and wikipedia for the first time and have been an addict ever since.
Also Read Wings of Fire, an autobiography Indian Engineer APJ Abdul Kalam in 2011. Decided I want to become an aerospace engineer and work at Indian Space Research Organisation. Life had other plans.
2012: Attended my first quiz by India post and started excelling big time in studies and quizzing.
2013-14: Became a passionate quizzer and maybe attended all the quizzes in Delhi circuit. Read books, watched Cosmos by Carl Sagan and again fell in love with space.
2014-16: Started preparing for Indian engineering entrance examinations. Went into bit of a mental rut and failed dramatically in the exams.
2016-17: Started again, took a complete sabattical after school to again prepare for the examinations. Read The Wright Brother's by David McCullough and formed a new life philosophy on education. Aced the examinations, made it to a good engineering college
2017-2019: Enjoyed engineering, made the best friends and formed a new world view.
2020: Covid hit and both engineering and the world came to a halt. Went into a mental rut without realising I was into one.
2021: Got my first job in a booming Indian startup and also ended my quizzing career by winning Tata Crucible - India's biggest business quiz
2021 is also the year when my mental rut exacerbated and I went into a full blown existential crisis.
2022: Discovered meditation and the power of breath and got completely recovered. Focus shifted from nihilism to optimistic nihilism.
2023: Shared a flat with my best friends in Gurugram, an Indian Suburb. Experienced peak happiness and growth on all fronts - personal, spirtual, and professional.
